I like the idea of full alum top. Trucks could mount under the plate.also it would be better from water proofing as you dont have to worry about gravity water seeping in top seals…
Altho i would think that would put a lot of stress on the bolts/screws for the lid while carving. The trucks kinda lock the plate with rest of the deck, and prob take most the shear forces. Course i could be over thinkin that.
Omg yes please never loose the footstop holes! Especially for a deck like this + high torque it’s very nice to have

Well on @Indiangummy’s we are doing this sweet purple mirage premium CF on bottom with a solid HAYA
He is powdercoating the lid, so that should be dope!
On the other one, it is getting a cool fabric skin on the bottom and I am going to dye some epoxy something that compliments the fabric and put glass frit on the lid. This one will be listed up for sale as soon as I am done, so you will get to see what I am talking about!
I am very excited to get going on them soon!
