Im thinking of maybe upgrading to giant pneumatics.
I heard range totally gets destroyed…how bad is it actually?
Not sure. I’ve never ridden a esk8 with them. Only gravity powered boards.
There’s definitely a huge difference on rolling resistance. I image the drag is what kills the range.
15 mi on 8in tires was my PR when I was still stock and battery was under 300-500 miles. 
Edit: rears were 8in, front still 7in
I actually got to walk through my mods with Jeff (evolve founder) in the 60 secs before a group ride kicked off. He was really cool. Now that I think about it, the convo could have been taken as a dick move, “look at me, I took your creation and thought I could do better even though I’ve sold exactly zero boards I’ve made.”
I added, I still think it’s an awesome platform. Not everybody is really going to skate all 63mm of stator outrunner. It’s a balance, I guess. I just need more.
