I don’t think that charger is gonna work.

Don´t use that charger then! 42V is for 10S only! If you have a 8S battery, thats 8 x 4,2V = 33,6V So you need this charger!

but maybe it is possible to adjust this charger to 33,6v?
If you are lucky. Just open it up and look if there is a potentiometer inside. Maybe you can adjust it to 33,6v. But I’d think it won’t go that low for 8S.
