meepo sells rear lights. they are good if you want cars to see you

I’m not sure if anyone has seen these yet but they are super bendy and nice and bright. Perfect for tail lights, oh and they are sealed too

hey @Deckoz, do I have to drop the voltage down on the led driver (meanwell LDD-1000H) input?

im running 12s so without stepping down can I put 50v into the led driver?

Has anyone tried this: 6W Waterproof Led light kit with REAR BRAKES CONTROL

Just found this monster at the px while at work today. Really curious to see how bright it is. I’d definitely only bring it for night skates though. Shred lights don’t really light far ahead enough at night time.

@pat.speed are you stepping down voltage to 12V? Looks interning , I think I’ll get a strip myself.

I have this system on all my boards ( without breaking features ) and it works great. The light is not bright but it’s just to be seen if you wanna see the road you need more power. My city is allways light up at night so i only need some light so peoples see i have a vehicle

Yeah I am. I just bought a little buck converter for about $3 on eBay

Did you use the 4W or 6W? also do you mind sharing some pics so I can get a feel of how it looks on a board?

I went with simple quad shred light they actually work quite well.

Time for a headlight upgrade! Undecided if I will keep this but probably install on Monday and give a whirl…! Been rocking the go pro light for months which has been great overall but like most things I want more!!!

TThis is gonna consume a lot…

Not as much as this:

but if you need to ride the bush at night…

Nah its only an 18w light… Kinda big… But the headlight I have on my ebike is more discreet and equally as bright so may have to try that if I’m trying to keep things compact
