does anyone else get the feeling of “FUCK YEAH” after riding? Dudes, I feel it now to an extreme. Amazing day of filming & riding with a friend, working on editing now and cannot be happier.

@Spek It’s not easy to make interesting videos for other people to see. Long videos can be boring if there isn’t anything interesting to see or some music. I think you did well with yours.

Its definitely too long. I didn’t have any time to edit and was just excited to share. In terms of the camera work, I was pretty happy with the results. I expected it to be much shakier without a gimble or anything and sometimes the selfie stick videos can be boring or disorienting. I was really trying to capture the sense of speed which I think I did. I’ll probably end up posting some edited stuff in the weeks to come as I gather more footage.
Also the youtube stabilization went into effect overnight and really made it worse and I’ve since reverted it back to the original. It was zooming in and out to stabilize it and really made it look weird.
YouTube ( and any other software ) is terrible in stabilazing your videos. There is just not enough data.
I was looking around for actions cameras with image stabilization and the Xiaomi Yi 2 looks really interesting. Great image quality and video is pretty stable. For ~ 230 eur from China not that bad.

I didn’t even feel like my footage needed the stabilization, but youtube offer so I figured why not? Now I know. A little camera shake actually made the shots feel faster, to me.
I thought your video was smooth for not having a gimbal.
