ESCape professional pcb assembly

+1, but On-board BT means at least implementing at least rudimentary authentication, right?

How should these sensor wires be arranged. Tried flipping the wires but same error

Maytech Sensor Cable 20180815_111228

Extension adapter 20180815_111137

How should these sensor wires be arranged. Tried flipping the wires but same error

put the black wire where the green one is and connect it to the maytech black put the green wire where the orange one is and connect it to the maytech green put the orange wire where the yellow one is and connect it to the maytech orange let the white wire in place and connect it to the maytech brown put the yellow wire where the red one is and connect it to the maytech yellow put the red wire where the black one is and connect it to the maytech red.

Then you should be good I think…

No dice… I also remembered that this ESCape is from the 1st batch and the sensors are reversed so I also tried reversing the wires but still unsuccessful…

But let me see if I got this right…

On the Maytech Sensor:

Red = 5v Yellow = Temp Orange = Phase Brown = Phase Brown = Phase Black = GND

Does that look right?

nope I think I remember green to be temp so maybe I mixed something up here. The thing is my cable works and I figured out how to set it up by watching this schematic so maybe it will be more helpful.

Another thing is; the labelling on the ESCape is correct, even if the connector is reverted compared to other vescs, so trust the labelling.

phase wires doesn’t matter so basically if you get red/black correct according to the escapes labeling then you can just throw on brown/orange on the hall connections and you should be good to go. Make sure you select 5V on the switch if your sensors are 5V.

@stewii any update?

I think and somewhat hope he maybe finishing and testing units by now or soon at least, but its really depending on what that customs thing was about and whether its been solved  or is ongoing still. :cold_sweat:

I personally don’t mind the waiting as i expected it but the not knowing about the customs problem outcome/situation at this time is slightly disconcerting.

Yea I personally don’t mind too much about the waiting, just that the fact that there hasn’t been any updates for 16 days has gotten me worried just a little bit

Don’t worry guys I send enclosures to @stewii three days ago so I believe everything is close to be finalized

Nice one for the heads up Lukas, i was going to ask if you had sent the enclosures. Well i will now send the final payment and sit back and wait.

@Silverline i dont know if this helps but, the google form is still open so im assuming this means some of the 120 units are still up for grabs…possibly.

Posted this earlier. Hoping someone can help me out. Nearly finished my build… I’ve got the PPM to Tx sorted, but I’m really keen to know if all the other cables are in their correct position and also keen to know how other people are connecting their battery to the dual ESCapes.

Just a quick update guys. All ESCapes have been tested and programmed. The housings should arrive today, so I will start shipping them very soon.

I will start answering your messages today, sorry for taking so long.
