Shouldn’t be much of a problem in a pack this small. But, here we are… lol. I am not sure if that was even the issue. I’ll never know, but i suspect it.
I didn’t find any burn marks, or any signs of damage. Just 5 cells with 0volts(an entire P pack).
Luckily, due to the way i wired my pack(by luck not design), the P pack acted as a fuse almost, and rendered the pack unuseable(so this didnt spread) after this happened.
Did you ever bulk-charge consecutively? Or did you always alternate with a balanced charge? Because alternating shouldn’t really be harmful at all – but trusting end-users or self to do that every other time is a recipe for a dead battery
Built a fresh new 10s5p for this beauty this last weekend. Much cleaner battery build this time around, more insulation and a better fit. Now complete with bluetooth bms, and no more box on top.
I setup my focboxs awhile go and haven’t changed them since. I am running 40 battery amps per foc box. I think I have motor max turned up to 80A. BLDC MODE. Sensorless. Vescs connected over CAN.

I’ve got a similar setup , trying to figure out how you got 34mph. I’m topping out at 25mph on 8” AT
I’ve got dual Focboxes, 5065 200kv , 15T / 66T, 10s4p 30Q. Maybe my vesc settings aren’t up to snuff.
