With an Evolve, you will have a MASSIVE project when it comes to waterproofing. They are very, very not-waterproof and barely water-resistant. They are incredibly difficult to make water resistant because of the lid that opens on the top. They are incredible difficult to waterproof because the ESC is two PCBs.
Also they make extensive use of hotglue. You have to rip all that out and replace it with “GE Silicone 2+” or another “neutral cure silicone”. Hot glue is not waterproof.
