Barajabali's EMTB build thread

not sure what do you think i should do? i dont want to paint it what else can i do

i think i am going to go with a 10s8p pack liion. maybe with a bms. Havent looked into that yet.

im looking for motors at the 200kv plus or minus.

What do you guys think? @claudiofiore88 @Michaelinvegas

you think im made of money…smh

This guy ain’t…I love the music …

@squad used 2 EMAX GT5345 Outrunners for his mountain eboard.

You can find 'em at HobbyPartz in 170kv, 190kv, and 220kv.

yea ive been studying his build. I like it alot but not sure i want to go with emaxx motors.

i think im gonna go with enertions 190kv.

I wonder how the GT5345 compares to the R-Spec 2.0 6372.

do you think with a 190kv, 10s would be fine? I think itll be too slow. but i dont have a balance charger that can go up to 12s. And i want to avoid running two series packs.

Thats why im thinking bms is the way to go.

How u gearing?

6:1 that seems to be the standard for these

@barajabali Im using 10S with SK6374 190KV, feels good! you dont really want to go much faster than 40kph on these wobbly mountain boards in my eyes, at least not for very long. :stuck_out_tongue:

Okay cool those are the figures I had in my head so I think I’m gonna go with that.

Thanks!

Found these on. Alibaba. Hopefully gonna get them cheaper than 116. I asked maytech (the company) they said that they are the supplier to enertion so I might pick up two of these if I can get them for under 100. Enertion sells them for 130

@whitepony @claudiofiore88 @Michaelinvegas

R-spec’s are $115 each and free shipping when you buy two. Who knows if their telling the truth about being Enertions motor supplier.

You’re right ! Not sure where I got the 130. Maybe the upgraded version.
