What size wheels were they?? Did you get any wheel bite??
Yeah that’s the problem with short wheelbase… Takes you to sketchy-town
70mm wheels. I wanted to go smaller but really couldn’t get a cog much smaller. no wheel bite. turned so tight… I loved it
only reason I never followed through with it permanently was because at the speeds I do it was bloody dangerous. longer board more stable at high speed.
Yeah I think it’s time to ditch the idea haha
It’s not a bad idea…just a totally different ride…
My POS Penny is not for the novice… But you can carve at low speed… Bump up the speed and it turns into a SYF machine…be ready with band aids … Speed wobble o Rama
Haha I’m just doubting my 83mm wheels will fit without rubbing as well though
Just use risers
As above I can’t. The battery pack and hubs are joined :-/
I’m loving this board but the quality looks a bit average but I guess that’s why it’s so cheap even though the shipping cost more then the board for me http://m.ebay.com/itm/172274671739?_mwBanner=1
Just add a 1/2 plywood under both so it’s level and add a front riser
Boom prob solved …
Gotta think outside the box
true true
Those wheel cut outs will help you
Yeah I like the slots down it to as it will be a good little handle for carrying around.
Lol more fun riding than carrying lol
Where are you located?
Haha, New Zealand, shipping is $91 nzd
Lol better off prob having one made for you…
Find a cabinet maker
The guy who made the 55 in longboard is a cabinet maker by trade
Lol, any bet it would be more expensive here haha. We need more variety
Yeah, NZ is a bloody long way from just about everywhere. I’d personally grab a used board from trademe.co.nz and spent a few hours cleaning it up. Provided the board is structurally sound, most wood boards clean up nicely.

Hasn’t been anything good on. I was thinking about getting a nice jet spud or potato longboard from aus
