Sick helmet. I especially like the Bluetooth audio. Would a snowboard helmet protect you the same way a downhill skateboard helmet would?
I’m looking at the Asian Fit Ruroc.
I’ve tried TSG pass XL and zero gravity Vector M6 XL and both were too narrow for my head. Vector M6 is really underrated imo, great looking helmet and great price.

Yes, downhill snowboard helmets are lightweight like long board helmets (Some of the POC and Bern ones are super nice), but the FOV is a lot narrower as there aren’t a lot of sports that you need to look behind.
TSG pass was designed with long board stance in mind and support shoulder/peripheral peaking. Which a lot of helmets do not have as they aren’t designed for sports that require you to look behind so the FOV is less on most helmets
