Thanks! It’s 760mm long.
Yes. Great design man
Yup still waiting to throw money at you
I am the first in the line hehe
Thanks Guys! I’m working on it as much as I can. Made whell wells and cutouts for trucks.
Don’t worry it’s not a final look as I did it manually just for quick check to get rid of wheel bite. Those Ronins are giving me hard time as the can go so low but I love them You can see also a brown 3D printed washer that I plan to made from aluminium with integrated lights. Plan is to have Nichia or Cree led there with stepdown module. Rear will be red COB LED strip.I have also received final plywood which is much nicer that what this first prototype is made from. Veneers are thinner and there are more of them. For now I have enough material to make 5 decks
So working as fast as I can to finalize this!
put me down for one
Naturally You are in
What sort of plywood is it?
It’s Baltic Birch that’s what people like to call it here (or just Birch plywood ) I had a 80cm long and 3cm wide scrap and I tried to break it by standing on it ( I’m 76kg ) and all I got was nice little flex This thing is very strong and it’s water resistant of course.
haha im lovin this deck any thoughts adding abita carbon to lighten it?
The cut out for the trucks… genius !!! This will be something… i will throw carvon or Hummies on them, dunno yet. But i have both I just need to choose.
Can’t wait for the next porn post
Hi Sorry for delay but I’m fighting with wheel wells and how to mill them on f… 2,5D machine. Want to do them smooth that I can laminate final veneer on them to have this nice look. I might give up soon and make them flat just to move forward but it would be quite big compromise in design for me
Wheel wells can be done by hand no?
For sure but I want to be able to produce it fast and as easy as I can to have normal price. Right now it will have to go to vacuum bag twice which is not good at all but I don’t want to compromise (I hate to do that).
That’s understandable
Do you have an estimate on cost?
Sorry not yet because to many things can change still.
These renderings are absolutely mad, take your time to find the best solution!
you can cnc them out theres a way to do it where it do like tiny steps down then a quick sand and theyr ready
You should put the electronics lid on the bottom, not on the top if you want any chances of being waterproof
