Another integrated deck project

I’m from France and it does not surprise me. My brother in law design custom furnitures, custom everything from scratch and then build them and he always says that Poland is the coutry with the more handy and highly skilled peoples, that will always try to overcome difficulties and be highly involved in the projects at a point it become personal to them… and before going in Poland he manufactured stuff in france, germany, italy… he would always have problems ( especially in France and Italy we are the worst of this continent hahahaha)

Cool, Poland is so big

My friend is from Sopot

Very nice place!

Yes, maybe in the summer I go there whilst riding your deck :joy::joy:

Does this mean there will only be 4 layers. Seems very little, no?

I assume he will use other wood or composite for structural strength Those integrated decks have generally 18 - 23 ply

The plywood that I use it’s very strong but not enough as I assumed at the beginning. That’s why I need to add extra layers of veneer and glass or carbon cloths between them. There’s no way other than test different versions to tell what will be enough. Don’t worry guys won’t release anything that could be dangerous.

Mate I was wondering what was your toight about the motor cables ? Will you use the same technique that is used in the ROCKET since you said you wanted a top closed lid. As well where do you plan to place charging port and switch ?

I’m going to be honest with you and I didn’t thought much about it. I guess I’ll have to do something similar to this. https://www.unikboards.com/en/boutique/no-logo-riser-pad-set-special-esk8 Maybe it have to a bit bigger and go towards chamber to fit charging port and switch. For sure I’ll think of something but right now I have to mill the compartment, laminate the bottom and mill lid

Create a poll.

But I think it will help, but I doesnt need to be on both sides. IDK

You mean a micro drop ? Seems usefull to me

Yeah, didn’t know how it’s called

Why not on the both sides? I though there are forces in both directions.

Yeah doesn’t matter. Don’t know what I was thinking.

Is the veneer sheets you bought natural veneer or engineered veneer

Its’t natural. It will look great but I can get many different ones.
