Thanks. Just don’t think it will work for the nano gear drive motor pulley since there is no screws? @3DServisas @Kug3lis

Yea it wont work if the gear/pulley have no grub screws

Interesting motors especially with sensors. Did anyone ever opened this motor?

I’m just curious if there is any difference to SK8 beside the closed can and motorplate, I’m pretty sure it’s from the same manufacture.

Here is how the SK8 looks (not my pic, can’t remember who posted it)

Then I’m probably out :pensive:

retaining compound will affix a pulley to a shaft, like glue but super strong (stronger than grub screws imo)

I just asked the supplier if they can add keyways’ stay tuned for the next 24 hours.

What about loctite 648? Good enough?

Yessir. search the forum before you buy. You need a lot of heat to remove, like a torch. I think kaly might have a video…

Before I buy the loctite 648? I already got some

I only got a heat gun but I believe that might also work

Confused why you’re asking about keyway lol if you already have retaining compound.

On my Trampa I use Loctite 648 + key + retaining screw. That SOB ain’t coming undone even if hell freezes :sunglasses:

That’s what happens when 648 is not used .

I think I’m in for a 150kv, I’ll check back tomorrow if I’m in…

Awesome! Would I still need to grind a flat side?

Didn’t think only loctite 648 would be strong enough :yum:

In my experience, Loctite 648 (or 680) alone has been strong enough. It even cures pretty fast. No grub screws or keys needed, it holds really well. It was designed for this very purpose.

I run dual unsensored motors on my MTB. I can start uphill with no problems at all. I mean like really steep hill. No pushing. IMO sensors are overrated.

You can just flick your waist
