I was planning on making my own battery pack, but if these prices are for real, I don’t think I’d be able to resist, lol! Wish they offered some different cells though. I’ve found a source for Samsung 40T’s and they are like $6. Certainly a bit pricier then a $4 Samsung 30Q cell, and it’s not 50% more power then a 30Q, but I think it’ll be worth it
I’d actually be making much less than $75. As I said in the post, i ordered too many cells by accident. In order to pay off my PO, i had to borrow money and put everything I have towards this. I’m just trying to price them to sell. It’s much more important to me that i quickly pay back who i borrowed from than it is for me to make money off of the extra cells i ordered.
I am thinking about offering DIY kits in case some people want to reduce the price further and assemble it themselves or use a different BMS.
Let me know if anyone has any questions.
My phone number is also on my website. Feel free to use it.
@Money you know what would probably help? Pictures.
I think that if people could see that it is legitimate and such, they’d have a wonderful peace of mind when ordering from you
Case and point, so whilst that is suspicious (along with this https://www.electric-skateboard.builders/t/pitbull-esk8-board/75092?u=totalgeek9224) I figure that there is no harm in giving the benefit of the doubt and having him have the opportunity to prove himself. Last time I checked, on his website, the only picture for his batteries was a 3D render of a battery pack. I know if i was gonna buy i would love to see what im actually getting.
If we want to use a different cell, or just want a battery pack assembled and we already have all the materials, would it be possible to have them sent to you and you could charge a assembly fee?
Yes that would be possible. Send me a PM and we can discuss this further. If you are outside of the US that may complicate things with shipping the pack back to you.
