3D Printed Hub for 6inch pneumatics on caliber trucks

I’m having trouble getting the valve through the hole  I’m thinking maybe the tubes I got have their stems bent too sharp? Any tips?

Which hub did you end up printing?

Edit : I needed to carve away a bit of material from the center of the hub where the valve enters. All good now

Another question, wheel /bearing spacers or not?

Hmm yeah I couldn’t fit mine in without compromising them either, I switched to the one piece hubs later.

I used bearing spacers, definitely necessary

I used ptowncruiser’s version. I had the same problem. Then I realized you have to put the hub in from the opposite side than you initially think you do. Went in without a hitch.

So if the stem is pointing out the front, rotate (not bend) it 90+ degrees so that its pointing out the back, then insert the stem into the hub and push the hub through. As the hub goes through the tire it will rotate the stem into it’s proper position.

Here’s my build. Working on the rears now. It’s looking like I’m going to need some modifications since my trucks make the drive gear interfere with the motor gear.
