A little OT, but Iā€™ve got another potential product idea along these lines.

Vedderā€™s recently added support for the NRF51822 SoC into the VESC Tool (Desktop + Android). Right now itā€™s a little work, youā€™d have to wire up one of the ebay modules much like you are with the HM-10, and copy the firmware over using a STLink. More details on his GitHub repo. This and a cheap BT 4.0 USB stick, and you should be right to setup your VESC wirelessly. Just an ideaā€¦

Dang he said I have to wait for my board to be fully completedā€¦ So maybe 2-3 weeks It was finished but I forgot to put locktite on a bolt that holds the clamp into the truck and while test driving it fell out so waiting for replacementšŸ˜„
