Sorry for the delay.
The cases are made of pvc ventilation pipes.
The pvc doesn´t impair the flex of my deck but is still robust enough to hold everything in place.

nice idea, it looks pretty good to be honest! 
This ride yesterday was my longest so far with one charge. After 21,5 km the VESCs battery cut function slowed me down to step speed. The remaining charge was about 2-4%.

Few days ago i got rid of my 3mm motor mount plate made of some kind of bubble gum aluminium which bent very often and made a new one out of 5mm aircraft aluminium. Looks much more solid right now and i had no more bending so far.
