Has anyone implemented this diagram? Its viable? have any risk balancing the batteries?

man, so simple and clean. this is the best solution for those already have a charger and don´t wanna buy a BMS. and have an option to run in parallel if you need more juice instead power.
but one question: do you protect the balance lead cables?
