yeah, I don’t know. Could be just faulty/brittle winding? I was only pushing the motor 50% of what it is rated for. Frustrating.

Nice work! Just wondering since you were doing fiberglass work why you didn’t use carbon fiber cloth as top layer instead of vinyl. I like the slim look.
I could have, but I had so much fiberglass, and the vinyl wrap is super cheap- I got a large role so that I can use it later for future projects.
Plus, it’s easy to worth with or remove since most imperfections clear up with a little heat.
