EMF Hub motor final sale!

Right now it will just be the set screws and the bolts holding the caps.

I’ll look into machining the caps in steel later on

Seems like it can take some serious heat!

Hi @ralphy, I’d be keen to get some of your red thane. Just to confirm - no need to add the extra nubs or use the insert?

Also, do they make matching red front wheels?

@ralphy I think everyone wished you were here from the start.

Jajaja well thanks that what my students say all the time. Sometimes the most comolicated issues are the simplest to solve. Glad to be here to help.

So pricing some people have asked questions, price is fixed as follows

Extreme setup is $150 more includes everything in the base setup plus the added high temp rigid sleeve insert bonded to the urethane wheel and nubs installed with lifetime support for replacement limited to 3 exchanges

As I said 15% of all sales will be donated to Jacob if he wishes to accept it

3d print knubs and sleeves are available for 19.99 shipped in the USA and it will solve your slipping issues with the current stretched out urethane you have.

So there you have it 3 simple solutions to the issues ranging from 20 bucks to almost $500 to make you a badass e boarder with the most powerful motors manufactured to date.

If there are great initiatives and a little bit more communication I think quite a few people would be in. Communication is key though!

Is there a package price as per Jacobs original $299 listing to include front rear mounts and front wheels?

Are you offering shipping to europe?

The red urethane was just something that was done for id purposes during testing. The urethane compound first batch will be produced in blue although i said black might be more popular.

An easy way to identify its the better rubber is to squeeze the wheel in your hand. The good one will hardly compress when its off the motor.

The upgrade urethane will be extremely affordable.

I cant do the original price because the process of purchasing receiving repacking and reshipping does take time and money. As stated before for pricing its fixed there are two options and worldwide shipping is available. Just scroll back and read my posts.

Jacob might be able to negotiate drop shipments direct from the supplier but thats between you and him.

This is red soft rubber which failed https://youtu.be/vojzvNTAGZM

This is hard red rubber which currently is performing well https://youtu.be/oB1dfXGx_ZU

i’m in, Thanks Ralphy

Since you’re redoing the thanes, is it possible to get bigger ones? I would like 90mm or maybe 97mm. And in black.

I second that suggestion. At least a 90mm option would be nice.

Not right away but it might be possible

These look identical ~$299 shipped:

Electric Skateboard Dual Hub Motor 12S LiPo www.ebay.com/itm/262582748321

Oh god, the wires are as thick as my balancing leads… wtf.

They took Jacob’s hub motor logo too. Must be the same manufacturer?

Yeah, chinese manufacturers are ruthless for copying/ selling your merchandise sometimes with your branding. It’s a hard world

they can do 110mm but not the sizes you requested without a big order of over 300 units
